Most of the inspiration for my work comes from the natural world. I love getting outside and really looking at the world around me – from the large rainforest trees down to the tiny details of a wing on an insect. My day to day life is surrounded by the quiet stillness of country life. However I also like to get away for city escapes and really enjoy the contrasting experience of the busy-ness of city life – the noise, the built environment, the people. All of these influences come through in my work.
